MBC HANDICAP LADDER COMP 2022

Basic information: 

You can challenge up to two positions in front of you or be challenged from up to two places behind.

The challenger takes the place of the challenged if they win and the challenged drops one place. 

If the challenger loses then the positions stay the same and the challenger can't make a challenge to the same 

person within one calendar week.

You must accept a challenge ie you can't say you can't meet a challenge because you have been challenged by 

someone else. 

The final playoff for the top four will be the first Sunday in October. 

Cash prizes will be £50 £25 £15 £10 The club will provide a trophy of some description.

Starting positions will be by random draw prior to the 25th April.

Failure to meet a challenge will result in a loss ie if you are on holiday for a weekend and you miss a challenge you 

will drop a place. 

Entry is free. 

Late entries will start at the bottom of the ladder and can be added at any time, on request.

Handicaps are draft allocations and to be verified by the handicapping committee.

Games to 21. 

If a scratch player plays a handicapper of say 3, the starting position is 0-3 If say a 2 handicap plays a 5 handicap 

then start at 0-3.

If you wish to raise an isssue on your own handicap rating your concerns shall be addressed by the handicap 

committee but text me initially.
